Take the kids to Minitown – a mini city in Durban

Do Good - Feel Good

Minitown is one of Durban's iconic beachfront Golden Mile tourist attractions and is home to many buildings that are replicas of Durban buildings. It was established thirty years ago and the buildings in Minitown are scaled down to 1:24 of their size. The buildings reach just above knee height and provide a perspective you could never appreciate when walking through the city. It's also like a little toyland, with miniature trains and planes that kids love to move around. There's even a miniature harbour with ships, as well as an airport.

Minitown is a proud supporter of the Quadriplegic Association of KZN.

Kids can host parties at Minitown Partyland, with facilities provided including a braai area (no alcohol allowed). Venue hire is R200 and R12 per person, with a minimum requirement of 20 kids and 20 adults (40 people in total). A jumping castle is also for hire for R300.
