N3 Toll Concession (N3TC) has entered the realm of social media and will be providing regular route updates via its recently launched Twitter feed - @N3Route.
Anyone with access to Twitter via smartphones, tablets or iPads can now plan their trip with the added convenience of knowing what is happening along the route at any given time. Motorists can now access up-to-the-minute information on any situation as it unfolds on the N3 Toll Route during their journey, which should assist in making informed decisions while travelling along the Route.
“While we encourage motorists to monitor this feed, we would like to reiterate that this should be done with caution and preferably monitoring of the feed should be managed by a passenger. Alternatively, when a driver stops to refuel or rest during the journey. N3TC strongly opposes texting while driving and we request motorists to be mindful of this danger at all times,” commented Andy Visser, PR and communications manager of N3TC.
Get regular traffic updates, information, weather conditions and reports on incidents that could impact your journey along the Route.
Although the Twitter feed is available for added convenience, motorists without access to social media will still be provided with information via N3TC’s Variable Message Signs situated strategically along the Route and the 24/7 N3TC Customer Careline: 0800 63 4357.
